About Grand River AAC
The Grand River Accessibility Advisory Committee is a cross-disability municipal advisory committee, which represents the cities of Kitchener and Waterloo, the Region of Waterloo and the townships of Woolwich, Wellesley, and North Dumfries. Members are chosen for their experience in the field of disability, and are people with disabilities, caregivers or parents, or those who have an interest in disability issues. Members must have a willingness to work within the framework of a municipal advisory committee.
GRAAC advises on accessibility throughout Waterloo Region, in particular for the municipalities of the Region of Waterloo, the cities of Kitchener and Waterloo, and the townships of North Dumfries, Wellesley, and Woolwich.
